A Quick overnight trip and day hike in the Piedras Grandes Area. Apparently 5 million other people like that area also over the Thanksgiving break based on the 10 million footprints I saw everywhere and all the car campers. Anyway, great area and lots of cool boulders to explore. The Ocotillo Wind Farm is just awful during the day and a total nightmare by night, I feel real bad for the residents there.

Love the photos Daren! I'm looking for a new one myself. I dropped my #2 camera off a cliff a couple of weeks ago. Almost killed myself climbing down to get it.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy that photos from "the real" Indian Hill area, are now "misc." I know you remember not too many years ago, when very few people knew about them, and even fewer knew where they were.
Could not believe all the footprints out there, looked like everyone in SD was there the day prior....ha! but I did not see a single person.
